varanisridari and I co-commissioned Damien to create this fun and cool looking picture. In terms of much of the particulars--what the characters are doing, etc.--it's all Damien and his incredible artistic creativity. Damien was incredibly nice to work with and he certainly put in tons of effort into this piece. He can't be given enough credit.
Varanis and I decided to continue with the adventure-themed pictures again, and as a result, the character Firion is shaping up, and I have decided to write stories based off of the Damien art pieces. (We shall see how nice that turns out to be, I will try and go all cylinders into such an ambitious project. Wish me luck!)
As for the picture itself, we have Varanis, Firion, and Nyst (from left to right) relaxing at a tavern after an adventure into the Emerald Expanse. Not a common sight, surely, but since they are good paying patrons (thanks to hard earned loot), no one really seems to mind their presence.

Wow... this came out incredible, the detail is beautiful. The two of you look so... massive and powerful the artist did a great job in making you two look so immense and beefy. the addition of a normal-sized human fellow fraternizing with such enormous companions... well, that's just fifty kinds of awesome. plus, the size difference. ^///^
