While I don't ship characters in shows I watch I did like that they went this direction with Korra and Asami. I wasn't even completely convinced they where a couple in the end, mostly because I didn't think Nickelodeon would let them be a couple in a romantic sense, so for awhile I was in the "they are close friends" camp. It was nice that the creators both came out and said they where a couple and I think they also said that Korra and Asami are Bi not lesbians. Any ways cool show, cool ending and nice thing to try and a kids show, congrats Korrasami shippers.
So tried my best to try and sort of match the look of the show, i think parts came out better then others. Oh well just more things to work on for the future.

I agree with ya dude.
I'm in the same camp cuz good lady friends also commonly go around hugging and holding hands without being romantically involved, so yes I was going with that cuz the ending was quite implied.
And yes, it doesn't make them lesbians by definition as they did have things with guys before and with all their hearts.

I don't hate who she ended up with - I hate that the f-ing run around was so much a huge part of the show. First she was with the one everyone wanted her to be with, then the one she wanted to be with, then forever alone, then the one who wanted her... there was bairly any time for show.
To be honest, I think the fact the show's creator did this only because the fans said so, and I kinda feel that this shipping was a little forced. Not that I'm against lesbian coupling and all, I just still feel that this was kind of unexpected, especially since I saw these two as bestest friends from beginning to end, which is what I really like to think about.
Other than that, cute pic.

Watch very carefully from book 3 onward, the clues are all there. I don't ship, but when I started to notice how Asami and Korra's relationship was blossoming into something more I couldn't help but get on board; all Korra's other relationships simply transitioned, her relationship with Asami was to me the only one that truly ever evolved.
That scene with Asami admitting she couldn't lose Korra brought a tear to my eye, and watching them walk hand in hand into that portal made me happy beyond words.
Tahno and and his cameo band with him on trombone, now that was the creators pandering to the fans!
