Just a little more in terms of background for Remi D'Tete. It's in Doc format for the purposes of hyperlinks.

I rolled this up using the background "Lifepath" system from Fuzion, though I embellished on things a bit so that some elements unique to his world can be employed.

As far as the world goes, it's basically a universe where Dogs evolved into the dominant species, Think "Dog City", but with a 2008 look, less blatant cartoonishness, and at least enough magic to enable curses like Remi's.
