well this is an unexpected surprise! a while ago a friend of mine CK or Cmdr Kitsune went out and commissioned the artist 
MehndiX to do up a big old ref piece for me. now a friend who wishes to remain unkown did one up for me already and Mehndi used it as a piece to get an idea of how to do me up here! and I have to say I love both of these pieces! *giggles and smiles*
this one may have less of me being silly and relate to the game I love so much but its still a wonderful piece and more importantly... as with the other I"M CLOTHED! good lord I much more prefer that, unless I'm asking someone to do me up nude I prefer not to be. this piece is great and now gives me multiple options for refs to help me get all the arts of Silky... proper arts! ^.^

no ya didn't ask me hon. *shi smiles* as for why... I used to bounce around between designs and feels of fursona's and in how I do rps and all... when I did Silky for the first time after meeting some other kats and talking it just felt... right. *shrugs* no other way I could describe it. :) so I stuck with it.
I don't think a herm is strange per se. But the point is how I perceive personas. I feel that my 'sona should represent me in a deep way, it is me: how I am and want to be, how I feel and think, my desires and ambitions. It's more than a simple representation, it's not an avatar, it's a living and real projection of self in the fandom. If I talk with someone here, I identify them with their 'sonas as well, as I would identify me with mine, and I always imagine they have the same feeling. That's why I say strange. It would feel strange to me to make a female 'sona, because she would not be me, and I would have to act and simulate, so a herm would be even stranger.
