This is so weird for me to see, because I remember in artworks past you seemed very anti-Tartii being perceived as anything but straight and were pretty aggressively against having her drawn with another girl. I'm glad to see that you don't have a problem with it now, though, since this is just art and not reality. The "wasn't hard to go lesbo" makes me a but uncomfortable, though, probably because it's been used as a slur against me personally. It's not really a thing people can "go" too, as you're born with your orientation...
I like this picture a lot though, it's really well painted.

I remember these two especially where you declared that no one in MLP could be a lesbian, and equated being attracted to girls the same as having orgy sleepovers (and also asked why is Dashie a lesbian? It's because there have been lesbians who identify with her, literally that is it. You can have your own headcanon that she is, mostly everyone assumes everyone is straight anyway)

Idk just seems odd that suddenly you've gone from very anti-gay women to "oh haha this is a fun trend that I'm trying on"

Actually I was neve anti gay-women??? I don't know where you got that at all, or where you think this is somehow something I just see as a 'trend' or a laughing matter.
Those pony pictures of Dash however have often been misunderstood. All they meant was that I found it sad that she had been reduced to, "Lol tomboyish pony with rainbow hair she's a lesbian!" I wasn't offended that she was a lesbian, but that was all she was immediatly viewed as. I hate the stereotype of tomboy's being immediately gay.
Also, this is all just jest in this picture. Sometimes it is fun to imagine my characters as other people, explore different scenarios in my head. No offense is ever intended by any of it.

Also I'm really sorry to hear that I came off as anti-lesbian too. :c And that my words offended you. Please, if you'd like to communicate through notes, or ever such a questionable mindset seems to come up about me that you think I may think like, just ask me. It's really honestly worrying that it came off that way. Also the whole phrase of 'wasn't hard to go lesbo' is kinda just a joke of 'yeah I'd go gay for that', meaning I just find the character beautiful or very appealing.
I know full well an orientation isn't something you just switch to. Being asexual myself and have been from birth (it wasn't until a year or so go I discovered the word), I know very well how serious it is. I do hope you can understand it is just fantasy though. I've also done quite a lot of growing up since those pictures.

I appreciate your reply and accept your apology, and am also happy to know that you've grown since then.
I fully understand that you did not mean to offend others in the past, but it doesn't change that it was offensive. It is difficult being a person who is not what society would consider the "norm" and I know you are intelligent and can understand that.
I can understand not wanting people to see someone like you or rainbow dash who are tomboys as gay, and I understand that that can be hard to deal with, but you must understand that gay people live in a world that does not accept them and causes them pain beyond which you can imagine. This image got a reaction out of me, especially as I was aware of the things you have said in the past that seemed very anti gay women in particular. And especially since it seemed that "lesbo" was just the latest trend for you, where as with people like me it is not a trend - it is my life - and I can't take it off at the end of the day when it is too much of a burden to bare.
That said, I am happy with your reply and respect you as a person and an artist to a greater degree because of it. I'm glad to have made the comments to begin with, as I think it's important for people to understand if they are hurting others without knowing it. I'm glad too that you've come to terms with your own orientation, it's a difficult process but it's very rewarding to have a name and community to validate and support you.

Sadly I cannot control what people infer themselves from what I say. But I am glad we have both reached an understanding of what I meant. No homophobia is meant here, or trivialization.
I think we can both happily walk away knowing no ill will was meant from the other. c:

Being irritated by lesbian fetishists pumping out metric fuck tonnes of lesbo porn over a character because "she's boyish" is justified, granted that means fuck all to anyone, but you're still allowed to be irritated by stereotypes.
Which, ironically, is the exact opposite of what you picked up on..

Hey, I don't like fetishization of lesbians. Stereotypes are irritating, but homophobia kills people.
My issue was with what I have seen Tartii post in the past that has appeared to be anti-gay women. And the irony in her now drawing her fursona in a gay context, but using words that imply it being a trend or a fun thing to do, not a valid orientation.
Tartii replied to my post understanding what I was getting at, and I am happy for that. I am happy for her, and I am glad for her clarification on this artwork.

You know, if you're ever up for an art trade, or if I save up for a commission, you think it'd be fun for us to get in the same picture sometime, just chillin' or something? I may not be able to RP with any more grace than de Sade has in "Dead Philosophers in Heaven," but drawing I can do.
Maybe that Christmas Card thing we did with Nicole sorta whetted me for it... Yours turned out awesome, btw!
I mean, if you're just now learning how to hang out with girls, a trans girl might be good help with that? ^u^" Liam Anne and Tartii would argue over eyeshadow or something, I can see it in my mind's eye.
(Eep, this just occurred to me - those dots you have under your eyes - You and Nicole didn't design those from the same source, did you? I remember periods where neither of you had those dots...)

Oh my goodness this is adorable ^^ Just looking at this you could imagine the fun day they could be having together. It just feels kinda... Genuine. ^^
Also even before looking at the image as a whole I saw the pokeball, then the cute collar, and then suddenly saw the Kingdom Hearts necklace and thought "Now you have my attention" X3 And was half expecting the jacket to have the toggles the Organisation XIII ones do X3
I'll shush now~ This is really nice~

*sigh* I am so far behind on my inbox. I feel bad commenting months later, but dang, they are so cute together. I love this and the cute feelings it shows.
You wanting to draw more girls with your sona immediately made me yell: I volunteer as tribute! Haha. If you still feel that way and still take commissions once my tax money comes in maybe I could commission you? I don't want to be a bother if you don't feel comfortable placing your character with mine. ^^;
