It's not a direct copy and the point of the assignment was kinda to copy his work anyway - so I think I'm justified in posting this here, considering it's nine hours of my own work, and I did the original colour roughing, composition and pretty much everything except the critter sketch :)

You certainly have put in a lot of attention to the details there such as the textures, the landscape and profile of the character, very nice job on it! Not too sure about the valley in between the fourth and third top mountain from the right hand side of the image, looks a bit awkward there. Other than that, very good image, hopefully you got good marks for your assignment!
