Casual life:
Derby is a laid back, optimistic hat. Not a social creature, Derby spends spare time taking care of Keegel Kegel- some pygmy goat that Derby recieved from unknown sources (Whatever it is, it got approved by the city somehow.), or reading and collecting information from strange books he finds.

Derby has converted his entire town house into a resourceful, well-organized library. Even though the dust build-up is a little bad, everything else is kept in order.

Social life:
Social life is practically non-existant since Derby never quite makes it through an entire conversation without stuttering or just simply not knowing what to say. However, Derby always tries to be professional and maintain composure.

You can't expect Derby to make very good eye contact and eye contact managed looks like a thousand yard stare as if he just came back from a war field. Yet the worst thing Derby has probably experienced is a bad run-in with thai food.
