Ditzy Doo Hooves, also known around town as Derpy, was happily flying around. She was going home after a long day of sending mail to different places around Ponyville.
But her wings were tired after a especially long day... home could wait, she would stop to take a quick nap in a cloud, to regain enough energy to continue her way.
She found an area with many clouds, and just suddenly quit flying to let herself fall on their soft, cottony, white surface.
White?
Some of the clouds were dark gray. And she had the bad luck of falling exactly on one of those.
BUZZ!
Lightning left the water particles as their electric energy was released into shot electrons, into her nervous system, making her jump and fall to the ground.
A small crowd of earth ponies and unicorns gathered around her ash-covered body on the ground as sparks continued to fall. Her body was curled, resting on her left side in a fetal position.
A female earth pony decided to help, and took her to her house to cure her.
Once there, she noticed that there were no ashes in the upper part of her left hind leg. It looked like the ashes were washed away... this couldn't have happened because of the rain, it must have been...
"Pee?"
She had wet herself... now she needed cleaning too.
First things first, the earth pony noticed that the electricity had entered by her right leg, because she had a third-degree burn there, missing a small portion of skin and exposing the muscle tissue.
She removed the burnt chunks of tissue, cleaned the wound, shaved the fur around it, checked if she needed further medical assistance, and bandaged her.
Next, she cleaned the ashes and pee from the rest of her body, and applied curative leaves to areas of her skin which might be slighty burn under the fur.
Still having convulsions, Derpy had a little risk of wetting herself again, or worse, biting her tongue. To avoid this, the fellow mare diapered and pacifiered her.
She carried her unconscious body to the bed.

AN HOUR LATER

Derpy woke up in a foreign bed, to find a yellow pony with an orange mane sitting at her side with a foal bottle in her hoof.
"Uggggh..." Derpy whined in a foalish way.
"Drink this. I added some painkillers to the milk to soothe your pain."
She removed Derpy's paci and proceeded to bottlefeed her.
Ditzy sucked the milk slowly, enjoying its warm temperature and sweet taste, and feeling her mouth go a little numb due to the analgesics.
The bottle was finished, and Derpy belched after the nipple was removed from her mouth.
She covered her mouth with her hoof and blushed at her own unpoliteness.
Shortly then, her attention switched to her unanswered questions.
"Where am I...?" the confused mare asked.
"At my home," the earth pony replied, "You were wounded, and I took you here to take care of you."
Derpy stared blankly at the sheets, thinking for some seconds. She then hugged the other mare.
"Thank you," she smiled.
She would need a few days to recover, but, under the care of Carrot Top, she'd be okay.
