Into the Wilderness
Our horse, with Wild ARMS flair. Just the pencil work this time. I'd considered coloring this, but since I'm halfway through a hard drive failure, I thought- at least for the moment- I'd stick to a less catastrophe-prone medium.
I aimed for a slightly different perspective on this one, and for the most part I managed to adhere to to the angle. I see a few points where I could have done better in theory, but in practice I was starting to wear through the layers of the paper with my eraser so I had to leave well enough alone.
The character in question had become curiously popular even among my of-less-than-furry-inclination friends, and somewhere in the discussions came the proposal of a crossover with Wild ARMS, a Wild-West-Fantasy series of console RPGs. My fondness for the franchise got the better of me, and the concept damn near wrote itself. And, after a half day's careful scribbling, it came together reasonably well, with "Baskar"-styled shawl/lopsided poncho and the series' most distinctively kickass weapon, the Bayonet.
The fact that he's bare-chested is, I assure you, purely incidental.
