
Ganon's Tower from Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past. I tell ya, when it comes to final levels, this one is quite a good one. Huge with tons of optional areas, and even if you know the path, there are tons of puzzling rooms, and some tough enemy gauntlets that you have to take on. Yes Agahnim himself is easy, but the rest of the tower is tough.

Tartarus is the ONLY dungeon in the game. Over 250 floors, and you climb it throughout the whole game. That is kind of cool, but also kind of dumb, heh!

Yeah, there's a limit to how many floors something should have.
It's like Devil May Cry 2, it had a secret area where in when you beat a room there are three portals. depending when portal you go to it will change the room rumber based on the ones, tens, and hundreds place.
You have to get the number to 6-6-6 meaning you have to go through 18 rooms of this.

I sorta miss the dungeon design philosophy in older Zelda games, where dungeons were labyrinths full of dead ends, extra treasure rooms, and generally far more obscure paths to progress. Rather than take the final-exam approach with multiple wings to various minidungeons with retreads of old bosses as in newer games, this tower just continues the relatively gimmick-free nature of LttP dungeons and simply gets harder.
Yeah, I didn't do every enemy, but I did do the little important things, the firebeam things, the Beamos, the bouncey things, Moldorm, and even the anti-fairies and magic that turns you into a bunny.
Huh, so I did. Since I had to fix a few things, forgotten wall torches, a doorway being 1 pixel higher than it should be, some ice panels in one room, etc..
