Gotta read what happened. Don't worry I'm not showing off or stuff like that. I just wanted to tell you all about How I got this in such a way
So It's Christmas and it didn't really start off well. My sister was here with her On/Off again boyfriend and celebrated Christmas morning with him instead of her family in the morning. So we had to wait till after Noon before we decided to start after her.
Well to start off my mom tells me to keep my phone on me and sent me a text pretty much saying that in a few days we were going to go pick up a new Cat. I started to cry and just kept repeating that I just couldn't. I know I would have to take care of the cat. The problem is that I barley have any time at all for even myself. That's all I could say. Sadly I have my job, while I'm working I have to go look for another. Cause they told me plain out that I will never get promoted. I do all the chores. My mom has an injury where I help with a lot as well there. I have to take care of their dog. Work on my art. And they want me to go take more classes. I just wouldn't have any time for myself at all. Although I would SOOO want a pet for myself. I just couldn't take care of it. (Don't worry though. My parents understood completely what I meant and they didn't mind)
But now what does it have to do with all this money. Well it's not the money they would of spent on the cat. But tradition. My mother plays those scratch off tickets a lot. And put one in everyones stalking. Well except my sister. She thinks they are dumb and didn't get one. Anyways, we all started scratching. Right away I won $20. Next one, another, then another, and ON AND ON!!!! All together it was a $500 winning ticket. I couldn't believe it. I kept the ticket with me all day. Kept looking at it as well. Still couldn't believe it. Neither could my parents. It was almost *can't really think of the word* Magical? Ironic? Karma? Something. It helped make it soo much better.
Now What to do with it. I'm thinking of getting a 3ds and the new Majora's Mask when it comes out ^vvv^ Maybe something else. What do you guys think?

Oh I totally understand. Money has always been tight for me.. Sadly I had to sell every game and system to help pay bills a while ago. Couldn't' really scrap enough to get another one. But this is the first time I actually have enough to spend on myself. So I'm a little excited. But don't worry, I won't spend it all at once. I'm just going to get the 2. Maybe Smash if it's on sale XD
Like everyone else is sayingis would say spend some save some.
The 3ds and I would recommend getting the XL is 200. I have the basic and there are two problems with it. The first being after about 3 hours my thumbs starts getting sore. The BIG issue I have with it is there is a square scratch on the top screen from the bottom screen. The bottom screen has an extrusion around it and there is nothing stopping it from rubbing on the top screen when closed. The XL has bumpers to stop the screens from touching Majora is going to be 40. That is half, depending on tax. Save the rest

Now is a Bad Time to buy a 3DS. Wait until the "NEW" 3DS comes out before you buy, even if you don't care about faster loading times, a better camera, faster download speeds, improved face-tracking 3D, and a faster processor and more Ram that will unlock exclusive features in future games, including some games that only run on the new hardware, plus a second analog nub and two more shoulder buttons ... not to mention Amiibo support ...
... even if you don't care about all that (seriously, it is a superior device) ... once the new model comes out, the old models will surely get a price drop.
There are a TON of great games on 3DS already though, so definitely pick one up eventually.

That's a good point. Might as well wait for the new one. And since I work in retail. I can get a decent discount as well.
I know that lately for the ps4 and the xbox one where you can't play the previous system's games. Do you know if the new one will be able to play the previous games on it or not?
