Besides, I always say...farts are funny! And they are!
I mean, they can clear a room, break the ice, make people snicker, chuckle and otherwise laugh. They make for great pranks and they stink more often than not.
Sure it's childish humor....but what better way to keep our inner child alive by killing it with laughter of a funny stench? ^_^

Oh, for heaven's sake - it depends upon the nature of the fart! I don't always laugh when there IS someone around, especially if it's an SBD (silent but deadly) 'cause that would give me away. And I can't laugh when I let a broccoli fart go - "mouth CLOSED" is the rule, unless you like choking.
