I like this piece a lot, and not just because it has Genzie in it. Very neat application of ink shading, plenty of detail on the scenery, plus the obvious cute chubby cheetah chick. Good stuff!

Wonderful work as always B. However the shading for the blade of the sword seems to be a bit off, The side with the light source towards it has a greater about of shade than that of the side facing away. Just my 2 cents.

Though it's the golem that really takes the picture for me. Looks nicely dramatic, the eye seems to be emitting light, also. With the matte black of the trees/background I'd kindof expect Genzie to be a bit more in shadow. I kinda see this as being a larger scene, though. Things seem a little tight. I'd like to see more experimentations with light, as I do adore your inverse works.

Is this purely inks, or do you do CG clean up after you ink?

Typically, not a whole lot. Well... sometimes I use CG to fixing up spelling errors if I catch them, and re arrange words. And if there's a glaring error or spot where the ink smeared yeah, but I try to keep them as close to pure as I can.

Well, not so much a tink like metal, but how cartoons do that little noise for people who are moving "twinkle toed" so I guess it would sound more like *tinkle tinkle tinkle* ...though that kinda sounds like they're taking a whizz while running.
