"It's so... Beautiful here."
This image is from the winter of 2011, almost four years ago. My thoughts on it from (nearly) 2015 are below, but if one's not into reading backstory look at this instead http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15314712/ .
Like, really, this is backstory text heavy, but there's more sexy without text coming later, promise, because this kinda fills the backstory quota for this year.
This was actually created before the second renamon picture, however far more existed in my school "sketchbooks" (the one's you're supposed to do work in). I was reluctant to place down a watermark, because I thought it destroyed pic, but i made sure to have it very much opaque.
This picture, is at it's core the same mentality of "beautiful background makes the whole image beautiful" as my other one, but this background I sat with for hours wondering how I should edit it as to not look too good (cut-in and malplaced) but in the end it was left as-is, because Renamon already stole the show to me.
And really I think I thought "well I want her to look at something beautiful" so blurring it was out of question.
The original sketch to this had our villages small Chapel as the thing she looked at, as back then we lived at the very top of a village, with our massive fields making their way down the hills to said chapel. The background image to this however became one of many 1700's barns scattered around our house by said forest, and they still have musket holes from a distant war.
Sadly, Being greeted by this beauty every day made me blind to it. Winter mornings when everything glimmered is now something I walk outside just to experience, but back then meant it was probably too cold to bother. It made me not realise what a blessing the location was.
But now the house is lost and the immidiate area contaminated with radiation and other nasty stuff, and I don't grieve it because our new house is modern with electric heating even, and no nasty building materials.
So yes this photo is one of few when I walked outside to take photos "at those boring trees if I have to" which now after experiencing eyes basically giving up on me seems so incomprehensibly beautiful.
But growing up there, there was no internet! And when I got it late 2009, I immediately started learning as much as I could about everything VFX and movie/production related, because the games of my childhood and Animes weren't created out of thin air, someone somewhere had learnt something that enabled them to create such amazing worlds.
That's when I encountered the furry fandom, because I clicked a YouTube video with a TailsRulz montage and was immediately stunned by their beauty. I wanted to create something well-worked through, hence this Renamon.
Well, I did warn you about a possibly backstory heavy read, but these old images are mostly uploaded for that sole purpose. So if we finish it on a more cheerful note, when bathing, there's still wood involved. Know what I mean know what I mean, wink wink nudge nudge... No that's too rude sorry I'll stop writing now.
