If you enjoyed Defender of the Future, then I recommend the older Genesis games Ecco the Dolphin, and Ecco: Tides of Time if you haven't heard of/played them already. A bit harder to beat from the 3D game and a different story (since DOTF is a alternate universe reboot). You should be able to get them on Steam, and have a nice new feature that allows you to save your spot instead of trying to get through the games in one go.

I was a big fan of the first two games, didn't really get a chance to play the third game and by that point I started to worry that they'd strayed too far from the original storyline. Tides Of Time will probably stay my favourite in the series.

Ahh well if they're about aliens and Ecco fighting them to get his friends back, then it's pretty much the same deal x3 I never got to play the other games, maybe one day I will ^^ DOT is pretty cool though, very beautiful too.
