That was one of the best exchanges I've ever read. Only on the Internet.
In seriousness, I sympathize with both sides here. With DragonsRevenge, I understand the disappointment of being promised a dragon only to see our hero melt before us, becoming just another spectacular creature being destroyed for human entertainment.
On Lucern's side, I understand the frustration with seeing the same transformation redone over and over until *gasp* the magic of a man transforming into a dragon no longer feels magical! What a crime! The commissioner thinking, "has everyone forgotten the roots of many-a-TF in the horror genre? The very terror of seeing this elusive mystical creature being undone is meant to stimulate the feeling of horror in the viewer".
Ultimately, I like the first two pictures more as well; but I understand where Lucern7 is coming from.
What these images need is an engaging story, from someone who can write horror TF but would give us a reason for the TF; maybe with some other dragons that give us reason to like them, thus making the horror more effective while simultaneously showing that the author doesn't condone the elimination of dragons and-- Hey, don't look at me!

Well I'm glad you're interested in the story, Lucern's what evolved from an evolving concept mixing my appreciation for the macabre, transformation and lizards. The whole goo thing adapted from me considering what could a shapeshifter actually be in reality, and without magic or crazy post-futuristic science, a DNA copying mass of unknown organic is what I came up with.
I also love the concept of something fantastical like a shapeshifter having to put on a pretty face for the audience only to run out of juice and reveal his constituent self.

With the concept explained, I see how you met this fate. I think knowing that adds to the experience of the art. I'll admit I'm also into all three of those, but seeing a dragon such as yourself destroyed in such a way doesn't evoke any allure in me; only sympathetic sorrow.
I once wrote an essay on transformation where I made mention that it does happen to humans in real life; it's cancer, and it almost never produces anything of value for its host or the world. Given free reign it makes nothing but an unsustainable, uncontrolled blob. Still, your TF is more unique than that, and reminds me a little of the Ultimate Being from Parasite Eve.
If this dragon/weredragon/confused human were a friend of mine, I wouldn't give up on him. In fact, if I didn't know this creature at all I'd still want to see if I could do something for him.
Oh, so there's an audience watching this horror unfold? Either way I think it's tragic. I think that of all the TFs that dragons suffer, though, as the world needs more dragons and it's a terrible way for a dragon to go. I grieve even for those that are given wicked backstories, as I know most of their authors have made them a victim twice; once for their murder and the second for their prejudiced typecasting!
