well, people have better control over their hands when up-stroking. I've had a couple teachers that are professional comic book artists, and they always said to stroke away from your body.

penciling and inking are very individualized. some things just work better for some artists. do what works best for you, man.

Yh i figured, but i have read and heard of some wired stuff. For example a guy was able to write in 4 different langues at the same time.

I thought I was odd for writing from right to left in english, effectively writing a sentence from the wrong end and having it show up like anything else. o_o;

That sounds not easy...

It's not.
My brain only handles about 10-15 characters at a time, including the necessary strokes to make it come out looking fairly coherent to LtR readers.

So, when I sign out to go to the store, I sort of remember this:
[mp 03:2 erotS] [4-4 yelboH .J]
and end up with
[J. Hob ley 4-4 Store 2:30pm]

I keep overspacing the bl.

Perhaps in the future, I'll get to the point where I can write rapidly like that, or even do it with my left hand.

I find myself working better when I get the image at an angle that naturally serves my best ink stroke quality. Weird stuff. o.o
