this is really really incredible. A really awesome dynamic pose and a really well rendered character, and the armor is exquisite. But something that bothers me is the combination of the hard cel shading on the tail with the soft shading on the rest of the fur and the hard shading on the swords but soft shading on the rest of the armor. It's a little disorienting for me; it always is when artists mix shading techniques in general, but it's especially disconcerting when it's inconsistent. I feel like it'd be more effective to hard shade just the armor (all pieces of it) and soft shade the character; I feel like the result would be more consistent and more visually appealing.

I hope you don't mind a small critique! I do think this is done very well though!

no not at all I see what you mean tho funny part is I use the eraser to do all my shading :-P so i didn't do anything really different I'll just have to be a little more consistent when i erase the dark colors (Maybe make sure my eraser is on the soft setting ) thanks for letting me know :) I cant get better with out critiques! :D

On first glance this looks pretty badass. On second glance this is some very nice piece of art - and I like how you did those green crystal-like elements. On third glance the medieval-interested person in me notices that some of the armor would be a little impractical though. The vambraces for example would make a quick change of the grip on the swords very hard to say the least. Perhaps she might want some gauntlets ( like http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14930507/ for example ) instead? Perhaps with some nasty crystal claws instead of weapons?

I find I like it quite a lot though it confuses me why my very male character now looks like a girl with boobs...
The drawing and shading are quite out of this world...I guess it's just the gender thing that throws me off
cause he can be a little femmy....but not so much that he literally looks like a chick if you get where I'm going >.e'

I see what you mean on the boobs, it didn't look that way in the line art before I colored it, I will fix it to where it doesn't look like he has boobs :)

okay i redid it :) I realized that I had made parts of the top armor round, so I ended up redoing the chest piece to make it strait.

anyway, sorry it took so long the last week has been crazy T_T
