So.... um... this was totally just a quick doodle that wasn't gonna take up a whole bunch of time... I was just suppose to practice shading and colouring! Why cant I just stick to the plan. WHYYYYY?!!!!
This took way longer to draw because I had multiple backgrounds I drew... because I'm stupid like that.
I've just been thinking how me and me friends would be if we were in a magic-ish setting. I figured Roke would be one of two things: A pure null (no magic or supernatural shit affects him ever, but he's a regular human otherwise) OR a warlock or mage of some kind. I picked magic user, cuz it's easer to illustrate (might draw the null version as well, cuz why not right?).
As a magic-user he'd either be a half-orc, full orc, goblin or half-devil. I went with devil, because I got an idea of him having a lot of his powers coming from a magical dice set or manifesting as dice. Plus, it's more fun to draw. As he's a warlock/mage most of his powers aren't purely from the devil side of him, so the energy isn't sinister or red (as his demon side is), which is why it's all sparkly and squee. In this fantasy world of mine I'd imagine him sort of playing on the stereotype of devils and demons to get people to stay away from him when they're being annoying or getting ahead on the subway. This could lead to aspiring mages and sourcerers wanting to grab him as a familiar or use the devil/demon bits for black magic XD so I guess he gotta go to the police a lot for help or something... or just have a lot of spells and wards prepared for those kinds of people. For some reason, I think his mother would fit as a devil the most. Not because she fits the stereotype (she's absolutely adorable), but because I could see her as a good-guy-devil hooking up with his stiff and grumpy ol' man. Adorable couple. Gonna avoid getting into disturbing, mental, images for me dear Roke territory, but yeah. Cute stuff.
Might do some more of other peeps I know and love. Already got an idea down for me (of course) and some other folk that I feel fits.
