Little Airplane - a parent/children's story
Finally it's done!
This story came about through my Little Airplane project. It is a children's and parent's story designed for both and will be the featured story on the website I intend to build this year. It will also be available in book form some time this year for a nominal price. In the mean time, please feel free to print it out and put it together for your children and grandchildren.
Art work is by
littlenapoleon and I can't thank him enough for his wonderful efforts.
You can also expect a much larger image book detailing how the rocker was built - but that's another story altogether.
enjoy...

PS - thanks to "icondander_woods: the orchestral background music can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15826439/

Again, the beauty of the simple and the most important shines in your ability to tell a story.
I am just as wild up now as I would have been as a child listening to my own grandmother’s stories, the certain thing very much that she would tell (minus the fairies of course).
Thank you for sharing this with us *hugs.*
Hopefully some old possessed table was thrown into a wood chipper at the junkyard. Silly wind spirit it is a felony to impede the mail.

This is a very special kind of magic. You've woven together your carpentry project, your own little pilot's imagined future and that simple but powerful story of perseverance and love. The tapestry you created from all of this is truly beautiful and makes me so very happy.
Thank you. You've made my Monday infinitely better. *hugs*

zAWWWWWWWWWWWWW So dang cute!
AND I SO WANT oatmeal COOKIES with coconut and raisins!
My favorite part is this quote The mail is so very important,” she told him.
“And yet we do not appreciate that so much.”
She paused to tickle his ribs and then said, “The
letters carry love to so many people.
I am an avid pen palist.. been so.. forever.. and each letter.. contains the amount of time that person took to think about you :)

I read it aloud just like it was meant to be read. Sarah said she heard her grandfather's voice in it - he would record himself reading stories and send them to all the grandkids.
What a heartwarming story! It took us a while to catch on that the adult half was not the child's imagination but later events - what a clever twist, and so touching how it resolved. It's just the sort of story that a kid can enjoy today, and enjoy again when he's all grown up. Thanks so much for sharing this with us, and with Logan!

What is the past... What is the present? And what is to come? Many do not understand how many things can be tied to a few simple events in ones life.
This was a very good story Vixyy, you have no idea how it pulled at my heart strings. One of the things that comes with age is to be able to look back and see how things tie together... Some get tied up in how they should have done things, they miss the fact that no matter how much they wish they can not change the past. Therefore one must accept what their actions have done and brought them to this place in time and space, then move forward with things as they are not how they wish to be.
