From the personal notes of leading research scientist Dr. Amadea Daniela during her study of the Salamon home world...
Upon the recent acceptance of my request to study the habitats and societies of the Alien race known as Salamons, I gathered the necessary equipment I'll need to record and collect specimens then proceeded to a part of the lab that is dedicated for a gateway that was made by a Ice Salamon known only as Elder whom is, as far as anyone is aware of, the only salamon with such knowledge. I was informed when the gate was created that this gateway would take me to Elder's hut within the Ice Salamon's homeland, which I made sure to wear effective thermal wear before entering the gateway. Once through I found myself standing at the base of an impressive mountain range with an equally impressive view. I discovered Elder walking from his hut towards what appears to be a sealed off cave when he stopped to pick up freshly landed snow and looked back to his hut, I would later find out that he was visiting his wife Glacia's tomb as he has everyday for the past three thousand years and he looked back to the hut remembering all the days he had spent with her and their daughter Snow, The tomb was sealed with a powerful barrier which Elder created himself to protect her remains from any animals and potential raiders, the only way to gain access into the tomb is with Elder's permission which I was fortunate enough to be given before the sun sets. What I found was truly an astonishing sight of Elder's wife Glacia was perfectly preserved within a large crystal clear piece of ice that faced the entrance of the cave, Elder said that he made it that way so she could continue looking out to her favorite view as the cave was originally a place she loved going to, to be alone and enjoy the scenery before she met him and took him there on when their relationship grew very close, when they married they made their home there so that she may always be near her favorite place. As night fell Elder welcomed me into his home and we talked about the tribes of Ice Salamons that we will be visiting on my expedition to study the Salamon race and it's different cultures, for now I shall turn in and get some rest as the first tribe we will be visiting is a day's journey from Elder's home.
End of attached notes.
HOOOOOOLY CRAAAAAAAAP! This art piece is truly one of my most favorite commissions I've ever gotten from any artist and this has got to be the most detailed information I've done for one too, I believe that Elder might be my most developed character out of all of them.
