:D Hi all, I had asked what a cool free icon template would be and I really liked the idea from a few of you to have a winter themed one, specifically getting hit with a snowball :P so i made it!

]The above image is just a few examples of what the icon can be.
There are currently 7 templates:
Dog (short haired), Canine (more wolf/fox-like), Feline, Shark, dragon
Comes with optional hair and longer eyelashes
4 Different backgrounds
Instructions:
You must have photoshop, SAI, or any program that can open .PSDs !!! GIMP is a FREE art program that can open .PSD files!!!

Color the flatcolor layer to be whatever markings you want! Make sure the shading layers are set to MULTIPLY so that the shading goes through and you can see the markings below.
Edit the icon to your heart's content!
Use whatever software you want to resize the icon to 100x100 and save as a .gif or .png
just some quick rules:
you can edit this however much you want, go nuts! I tried to make the bases as generic as possible so that they could suit a good chunk of characters without too many edits but you can do whatever you want :3

Please do not sell these bases for profit. Do not sell them for money OR for art in return, these are supposed to be 100% free and not for anyone to exploit. These are FREE, they should stay that way. If someone offers to do art for them or pay money, please do not accept it, either do it for free or tell them to do it themselves!

depends, I think if you took the shark base and then just edited the lineart a tiny bit to be a little more fluffy (and then fixed the shading/flat coloring if there are any parts of it that were effected by editing the lineart) it'd make a decent sergal :P but perhaps I can make a base for that if there are other sergals interested as well! ive never drawn one before they look fun to draw :O

Can you say a good software to resize the icon to 100x100? Everything I've tried makes the quality go down :( SAI, Gimp, paint tool(The old one works but I can't use it because its not compatible with windows 8 >:/) of course if I can't find anything I'll just have to put it on my flash drive and start up my old slow computer just so I can resize the image correctly v-v
I usually use MS paint too but I got a new computer and its Windows 8 and does not have the paint where you can resize it good D: tryed to download it but it says the software can not work on 8 q-q but I going to get on my old one so I can resize it with better quality. Just another reason to hate 8 -_-

Had to Add my Fangs and had to Mod the Lineart beetween the Bane And Snowball.
Because the Line from the Mane was in front instead of behind the Snowball.

yeah sorry xx i really need to edit the description. unfortunately i had apparently selected the wrong option so it was editable and emmy saved over it. i don't have the original file on this computer and the file is on my laptop which is packed away x) i've been asking friends who have had downloaded it to send me a vanilla version of it lol
