Her name is a Hebrew letter, it's pronounced 'Yode' rhyming with 'Code'. (Aleph's name is a letter as well)

Thank you :3 Hm, I think just these two so far as they are siblings, and I have light-beasts that don't follow this naming convention.

I thought that might be the case, given that there are probably more light-beasts than there are Hebrew letters. It might be interesting to see how you could tie their natures into the symbology and meanings that some folks attribute to the letters. I don't know the specifics, but I think that the Hebrew characters can have meanings/stories behind them much like some of the Asian alphabets.
