"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn"
This is just a quick -3 hours of battling with blend modes i had to experiment with i'm an idiot and wastes so much time sigh- sketch turned semi-completed picture on a low-poly render of the cubicle I'm working on for this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15341750/
This isn't a fox, hence it's a bunny. It's my nr two go-to species when there's sexy planned but the tail seems an insurmountable chore.
The sketch didn't even have a head from the start,, it was just a quick "whatever i'll wing it" terrible idea where i just drew straight on the render without any planning what so ever. And if that's bad, I did absolutely not realise the arms were abhorrent, cut them off, named it yawn.psd leaning back in my chair saying "Nailed it".
This render is so terrible, out of scale and spartanic it's the kind which scares people off. But atleast there' no 3D character models involved anywhere in any of my works, It's the way things are and always will be, every character's hand drawn, any other and it would sort of "kill" the magic for me much like when animes switch from saucy juice drawn style to 3D models.
Dat iMac though.

Despite the ludicrously low polygon cap my computer can handle -it crashed as we speak Q_Q- the backgrounds drawn normally are so terrible this actually looks stunning.
Yeah, rushed in an stupid way. Don't fix something that's not broken, is the lesson learned from trying to alter my workflow by taking short-cuts. Solely relying on blend modes instead of making shadows and colour blends manually was a bad idea. She's basically a hybrid of me playing with blend modes for 1.1/2 hours, then spending the other 1.1/2 hours trying to fix it, because 'twas past the point of no return.
But that's what's experiments are for, even though the thought of all the much needed coffee cups never created in the time it took makes one sad.
And glad you noticed the stockings were what kept me going~
