Personal - Galactic Girl

(Holy hell, people, chill out about the neck. Not ALL of my pieces use this same technique, nor will they. This is the only piece like this among the /dozens/ that I've done recently. Please refrain from judging all of my artwork based off of one piece.)
First of my last pieces of 2014, all personal work from here to the first couple weeks of 2015.
You guys have seen this gal before, but never in this form. This is actually Spirit, my Space Angel Dragon character, in her Galactic, or feral form. Her Galactic form is of a typical Western dragon build, though she retains the same basic colours and markings as in her anthro form.

This bust will be featured on my Ultimate Reference Sheet of her, (currently in progress,) but I went ahead and finished up a version all nice and shiny since I liked the bust sketch so much.

Hhhufff.... whoa... that is some gorgeous detailing work! I would have run out of patience after about the third or forth feather. XD She is very beautiful in the feral form - and I find her design a unique mix of smooth, fluid lines and more aggressively jagged turns and edges (as seen in the mid neck and shoulder). Great stuff.
