FINALLY!
At least I'm not the only one that saw it as a little weird that when Link traveled to the dark world in Link to the Past he became and bunny and when he traveled to the dark world (twilight realm) he became a Wolf!
Either way, this is an awesome awesome picture. Made me laugh.

I think they said the dark world turned the person into what reflects his or her heart. Link was more or less innocent and nice, hence the bunny. As for the TWILIGHT REALM (No, not another dark realm, I don't think - it was just a twilight realm, that was temporarily controlled by gannon), it turned him into something else.
At least I'm pretty sure.. I don't remember why Link became a wolf...
..Then again MOST Zelda games are all different. Only a couple of games are actual sequels - most of the time it's another hero that is named Link, so it could just be the fact that THIS link became one animal (wolf) and another Link became a rabbit.

It's the same Link I beleave. Reborn through the ages I mean.
In Link to the past, the dark World was powered & made by the Triforce because he made a wish to conquer Hyrule which is also called the Light world on that game.
The Twilight Princess, don't forget it was Zant who made that twilight world on Hyrule. Ganon gave him his power but did not receive the Triforce of Power with it so that twilight was powered by Ganon's black magic not the Triforce.
Because the Triforce itself made the dark world & not Ganon's magic, the Triforce is a lot like a like a mirror, one who touch the Triforce will get what they want by what's reflected in there heart. Pretty much explains it there since the Dark World would turn anyone into something that reflects a person's true self.
A more interesting note that Ganon had the complete Triforce in that game. All three of the pieces in the Link to the past. Because Link had nothing to protect him from the magic like in the Twilight Princess game, Triforce magic or not I'm sure he would had been a Wolf if he were to have the Triforce of Courage protecting him. :)
