First art trade since hooking up with VCL, posted here since  urban-coyote has set up shop on FA

Anyway, coming form 2003, this was my first completed attempt at a canid character, and the first in a string of trades that somehow involved winged characters, even though I profess no special talent for drawing wings. This trade was completed, I got a pic of Roland in return. Since then, we've both gotten better at what we do. This is the only trade to date where my half didn't include a backdrop. For display at FA, I added current info and my "crossbuck" logo.

Technical:
--Not a lot to talk about...other than the multicolor gradients and the metallic look of the scythe blade and boot trim. BTW, the boots are referenced from photos on the web somewhere, possibly from www.x-tra-x.de (no idea if the site still exists, tho' ) , as well as the rest of the outfit. Oh yeah, first time drawing a gothic-style outfit too.
