Man, I know that feeling. I haven't drawn barely anything all year and it makes me sad. Gotta be even more busy on your side. Such a bummer, but even a quick background still looks good from you, and this is a lovely piece to end the year with.
I really like the concept and composition here. Don't see too many images with characters facing away from the camera; I think it gives a really nice feel to it. Walking dramatically into the sunrise~

i love pictures from behind the character haha. i once heard it explained as, when the character is looking out of the picture, we only focus on the character. but when they're looking into the picture, we take in the whole background

That's actually a really cool way to think about it. Now I kinda want to try some background-focused character pics like that :0

Well, you might not do backgrounds too often, but clearly when you do, it's spectacular! Those clouds are just beautiful, so painterly and with such lovely colours. The coyote is great as well, I love the pinkish linework, it really brings out the character.

This view is bleedin'-amazing!
