I will say that shapeliness is overrated, but when you finally manage to lift an eighty pound suitcase with one hand, it's worth it. I just hope you'll learn to love your body independently of improving it, so if you (god forbid) relapse, you'll still be fine with yourself.

Its not so much my shape thats the issue. I just dont FEEL good. I have no upper body strength and I have this horrible pot belly which I am SURE is from my over consumption of cola. Honestly, even though I do I feel I am a TAD over weight, I'm more interested in feeling better then looking better.

I've found the solution to a pop addiction is to drink stronger liquids that you can't drink more than a sip of every so often... the strongest ginger beer the market nearby has. It satisfies your brain without the sugar. Upper body strength is overrated, it makes people tell you to carry things. But just walking while carrying things over the course of several weeks can give you an impact - you don't have to build your strength in those muscles that fast, but upper body stamina is something that always helps with people who come into exercise feeling poorly in general - it produces the rush and exertion with none of that crash and pain stuff, just a slow muscle burn that feels so good when you relax it.
And that's a great attitude! There's something to be said about detoxing, as full of bullshit as its adherents lead us to believe it is. It does wonders for the bloat. Good luck!
(And it's so refreshing to see a friend who's honest about needing support like a human being does, people who act like they don't need it just feel sad to me... You have my support and my good vibes and my armchair diagnoses, and whatever else I can do to make you happy. ^^)
