I'm afraid that's not juniper. It's yew. All parts of yew are highly toxic except for the aril (squishy red bit). Ate some of those as a little kid and scared my mom half to death, but because I didn't eat the cone in the middle (very, very toxic), no harm was done. I'd eaten cherries before and treated the yew berries the same way.

You can make gin with or eat some junipers. Others are too bitter to eat and a few are toxic as well.

And I meant to add, you take very nice horticultural photos. :)
