A few months back I became involved with doing artwork for a story on FIMfiction.net titled A midsummer night's dream. Basically a crossover with Pacific rim and MLP FIM. An unorthodox crossover sure, but it's given me alot of creative freedom as far as coming up with both jaeger and kaiju designs.

Somewhat of an experiment into ranged capable Jaegers, Midsummer Night is the first and only Jaeger to be equipped with the M68 railgun, a high tech system that fires solid tungsten slugs at hypersonic speeds with almost pinpoint accuracy. The system though is energy intensive, draining a substantial portion of the Jaeger’s power reserves and taking some time between shots to recharge. Despite these flaws Midsummer Night is a fearsome opponent, its heavy armor and raw power enough to withstand many strikes and still hit back.
