So... a little story for you all...
About 6 months ago, an artist currently known as SoopaDerpcat (
soopaderpcat ) returned to DA after a little bit of time off the site. He shut down his previous account because vore was taking over his life. When he made his new account, he made a commitment to go ten pics drawn at a time before he drew a new vore pic.
Now, here's a more recent story...
Another artist by the name of PonyThroat recently went on an indefinite hiatus because he didn't want to be solely associated with vore for the rest of his career, and wanted to pursue his goal of being a freelance artist.
So why am I talking about this? Easy answer.
These two have inspired me a lot recently, because if you don't know my normal work, I draw for a few SFW ask blogs on Tumblr, my most popular being my baby, Ask Petal Gust, which, for the last one and a half years of my life, WAS my life.
But at this point, vore is my life, and honestly? I don't want it to be...
I've been a mildly successful ask blog artist on tumblr for almost three years, and that is something I want to keep doing, but I can't do that when I'm basically ONLY drawing vore. It's taken over my life at this point.
Now, before you think I'm deactivating the account or completely stopping vore, you're wrong. I'm not stopping doing something I love. HOWEVER, I am restricting myself. I'll still draw the occasional doodle and post it here and the other sites too, but it's going to be a little bit to start off before I draw anything of my top quality, or even flat color. Perhaps a few weeks, maybe even a few months.
But hey! If you guys like my little doodles, then you can at least look forward to them every now and then!
But yeah... I need to return to doing art that isn't vore, and this is unfortunately the only way.
Thank you all so much for every milligram of support. You guys don't even know how much it means to me! >w<

Aww.....that's disspointing :(
I can understand the whole 'not wanting it to take over your life' thing though, as other things have done that to me, and it is your choice after all.
I'll still be here to freak out at every picture you make because of how great they are though! >w<
