Crash barely avoided being impaled by a spike trap. It did however get his pants, and to avoid being hurt, he has no choice but to rip them off. Now he has to finish the level in nothing but his tighty whiteys. It could be a lot worse. I don't see why that's bad, do you?

Did you know that in the canceled Crash Bandicoot game "Crash Landed", there was a game mechanic where if Crash's health got low enough, his pants would fly off and he'd be left in his undies? He even wore briefs! IMO he looks a lot better in his tighty whities x3
