Here's something a little different! Okay not -that- different as I already have a mummified baby rattlesnake. This is an older one, his rattles still function when you gently shake the specimen or brush your finger along his rattles. This surprised me quite a bit, I didn't realize that it would still remain pliable and enable it to function as it did when living.
He's a little warped and kind of mishapen as he was an experiment with freeze drying methods. He was going to be chucked into the disposal bin but instead was gifted to me as I didn't want him to go to waste. So now he rests immortalized in the cabinet among many a skull and skeleton :)
