Here's my baby!
He was stuck in a kennel for 10 long hours, and on a plane for 7. He threw up in the carrier, on his fleece blanket and he was so upset when I finally picked him up at the airport last night.
But now he's doing alright.... he thinks everything in the whole house belongs to him. He walks around talking to himself (which is usual) and because he was raised with another male cat, and they played and scuffled alot, he doesn't take any shit from moms dog Jake. He even.... well, he's being a bit of a bully to Jake lol. Mom fed the dog and he heard the kibble hit the bowl and ran out, beat the dog to the bowl and hissed at him to keep him away... FROM HIS OWN BOWL!
Needless to say I had to thwap him over the head for that one. For the most part he's fine. He doesnt know what to do about Tommy (who is about 16 months old and chases EVERYONE around the house)... he had to hide under the couch while the kid was running around.
Also, Gizmo has never had to deal with a baby gate. Where Dylan knew instinctively to gracefully jump over and clear it without touching the top, Gizmo things he should use the top like a stepping stool. He's knocked it down once on top of himself, and that scared him. He can get INTO my room fine, because he jumped in and onto one of the twin beds inside the doorway, but if he's IN my room and I leave him there, he bawls for me to come back and either hang out with him in my room or lift him over the damn gate.
Its adorable... but its gonna get old as hell really fast.
