I keep wanting batteries for my lazers and flashlights, AAA, and 3-Volt (CR123A). A 12 pack of 3Vs is about $25-$30 because they have lithium in them and are performance / tactical batteries. The next time I buy them will be a GOOD rechargeable kit.

Wireless peripherals = bad. I remember trying to use a G7 Logitech to play Counterstrike and the .25 second delay from my input to screen movement was miserable and extremely noticeable. I'm wired everything, its more reliable and more secure, especially with internet.

Dollar store batteries are almost as good, and a fraction of the price. obviously the problem extends past batteries, though...

it's not a dollar price shown up there actually. it's polish current, but it hurts when you have 50 and you know you need to live up about another week on this, or more, when dinner costs you at least 10 and cheapest batteries are for 6.

Hardware store / farm store like Tractor supply usually has large packs 2-3 times bigger for a fraction of the cost you spend in some place like wal-mart. I think it was a 20 or 25 pack for $10 last I saw...

*scratches head* when you say "Gameboy" are you talking the original? Because, I know from backlight to present. They've all rechargeable lithium batteries

GameBoy Advance, actually i also was suprised at first, but it looks like it's original.

*is confuse too* my GBA just plugs the cord in and charges up. ...though, it would last about 2 days per charge, sounds about right.

The 1st verison of the GBA uses regular AA battries, the one without a backlight. The GBA SP, the first Gameboy to have a backlight, uses rechargeable lithium batteries.

Of course, this is all information about the products in the United State, I'm not sure if it's different in other countries.

i didn't really made the choice, i got it for christmass from my brother and i actually don't really mind it. i'm happy i got any. i always wanted one since i was, like.. 10 y.o mabey? my family never had much money and they were kinda expensive that time, they still kinda are and there's not that many of them, so- besides when i'll have some savings again i'm going to change screen module to the one with backlight, it's actually still cheaper than getting a new handheld.

Pokemon FireRed and GoldenSun which i got along with the GameBoy. will be working on that in the future. And yes, im from Poland, that's still in Europe ;p

*shakes his head* I was trying to figure what'd it'd cost to send you a Gameboy DS (With your games) I don't know if you can still DL either of those to your Gameboy anymore

As for the Europe comment. You lot use 220, we use 110. So needed to figure if the system was compatible, or if it needs to be a European based model
