This... I don't really have the words to explain how I feel this one.
It started as a spur of the moment doodle, an impulse to draw something cute. I wanted a girl in a pretty dress, some boots, just a simple little drawing of an anime-esque girl. What happened was it went further than I expected. The makeup was colored pencil beneath marker, the background acrylic paint. It's so serene, so picturesque... and I love it. I love this picture. I am actually, genuinely proud of it, and I just can't help but smile when I look at her face, her eyes. She's a cute character in a simple but pretty setting, something simple and beautiful.
I love how this turned out. This is probably the best I've felt about a picture in a long time.
