Ever since their encounter with each other, Purna and Shane, the fox thief, have developed a strange relationship. Shane finds himself somewhat enjoying the treatment Purna gives him and decides to stick with her on her travels, acting as a part-willing slave to her antics.

One of said antics is the force-feeding Purna does to him. Despite putting up with this, Shane manages to work off the extra load he absorbs, hoping to stay slim and agile like a good fox thief should.

Their relationship is odd, but the pair somehow find it in themselves to give each other their trust.
