wasn't a sample, just the peruvian arp in the bank gosh I haven't heard gabriel since the 80's....

but thanks. I was thinking it was too bright getting that high altitude Andes vib. may still tweek the mastering to warm it up a bit

Is that possible? ;) Even I hear him on the radio, and I never listen to the radio!

Saw him live a few years back. Well worth it. IMHO he's a cornerstone of a lot of modern music that borrows from non European styles :)

you have to remember where I live. all that's on teh radio is either 60's classics, christian rock, or salsa.
Actually I take that back, I think I did seen a concert that was on A&E or something...he was riding a bike around the stage? I'm old, my memory fails...

Ah, yes. That sounds like a bit from Growing Up Live, when he does Salisbury Hill on bicycle while the stage rotates underneath. Did he and his daughter hang upside down from rigging during another song?

He tried pretty hard on that tour... for an OLD guy! ;)
