Considering the quality of the reference photos I had to work from I'm rather pleased with the outcome. I usually will work from bad photos (because sometimes it's just impossible to get good ones and it would be too sad to deny the owners a portrait because of it), but it can be very frustrating and the results tend to be not mindblowing. If you ever think about getting a painting of your pet, please try to collect as many good quality photos as possible. You're doing yourself and the artist a big favour with that!
