A design I just sketched up for my stone setting class at TAFE, the dark black bits would be stones of some colour, perhaps garnets, the rest would be silver.

Heehee, yep, I've been looking at decorative ironwork designs and this came to mind, there's a lot of swirls in those old designs.

kind of reminds me of the old vineish fillagree I used to see in old buildings and in old metalworking. great job on the sketch, I'd recommend black onyx or Jet for the stones.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking for the stones, but the concept that we were given was "Colour" so maybe I'll use them for all except one stone, which will be a nice red garnet, should look good.
