Here's a commission done for me by Clef, an amazing artist.
She was in a TMNT drawing mood lately, and free for commissions, and as I really love her style, I've asked her if she want to draw a Mona Lisa to me.
It was one of my favorite character from the TMNT cartoon from the 80's :)

In fact, she was one of the first character I was thinking of doing as a cosplay in aimegao style instead of Mousey ;)
Maybe I will do her someday, but it will be hard to be as cute as this one ;p

I was always disappointed they didn't make more use of her in the TV series. They did make a bit more use of her in the Archie comics version of the Turtles at least. :)

Yes it's a shame that she had disapeared so quickly from the show.
I guess probably some good thinking american mother had wrote to the channel to complain that a belt and a bandana was not enough clothes for a young lady ;p

Mona Lisa is one of those characters who only appeared once but she left such a big impact that wonderful art of her life this continues to pop up, Maybe one day we'll see her again in some way/form.
