Image I drew a couple of weeks ago before christmas.
I worked on it a bit during the holiday.
I do not plan of finishing this.
However, I do have a refsheet for a friend's birthday that I will be finishing soon, that follows this style.

It was definitely homage to Evangelion. I've watched a lot of anime, and generally do not like them, but Evangelion is among one of my favorite THINGS of all time. Not just shows or anime. Her original design was more star foxish, only not formal. It was kind of loose clothing. The plugsuit thing works very well though!!! And, it was

Well, right. She wasn't always really space themed. Her earliest incarnation was more of just a nerd, or a mad scientist. She wore very loose clothing, like loose fitting tank tops, baggy capris, and things. Very lazy, house clothes, that said she didn't care about her appearance. I made her space themed later, and she was wearing a very "gypsy" themed pilot uniform, with a coat non intentionally similar to starfox.
I haven't recently drawn her ship. Things for Ame may come slow, since she was more of a very loved scrapped character, but is a mascot before anything else. I just wrote up a lore for her at some point.
