Struggling a bit, the little Ampharos carried a present about half her size across the room, before finally sitting it down on the floor.
"Joey, you can come in now!" She cried out into the other room, letting her mate know that he could finally enter. Upon walking in, his eyes lit up, amazed at the size of the present.
"Ah, Alice, you shouldn't have!" The excitement in his voice was clear, he was thrilled that not only had his mate gotten him a present, but it was far larger than he would have ever expected. "What is it?"
Alice giggled, a hand over her mouth. "Maybe you should open it and find out, hmm~?" she teased, her tail gem lightly pulsing from her own excitement.
Not having to be asked twice, the little Cubone kneeled down and swiftly tore away at the wrapping, exposing the plain box underneath. After struggling for a moment with the thicker tape on the box, he got it open as well, and a blush struck up on his face.
"W-W-W-" He stammered out, not quite sure what exactly he should say in the face of such a gift.
And I'll leave it up to you lovely people to imagine what the gift was! I'd love to hear your ideas if you'd like to share them.
This was a wonderful commission that I got for Joey as a Birthday Present for his birthday on the 2nd, as I couldn't think of anything to get him Offline.
