Re-enactors aboard WWII Liberty Ship "John W Brown" during a demonstration cruise in the Chesapeake Bay.
Cruises are held several times a year and are very interesting if you're into history, whether it be mechanical, military, or aviation history. Google it!
Of course the bridge in the background is "bogus"; ferries alone crossed the bay in this era.

I participated in several of these 'side-reenactments' a few years back. Both as a GI going to England and as a german POW. This was a sobering experience, walking up the gangplank carrying full gear and a Garand, sleeping 4 high on a set of bunks, and interacting with crew and public.
I'm not entirely sure but the khaki-clad person in this pic may be the reenactor liason for these cruises. He's a elementary school friend of mine, Todd C.
