Bastet was a goddess in ancient Egyptian religion, worshiped as early as the Second Dynasty (2890 BC). As Bast, she was the goddess of warfare in Lower Egypt, the Nile River delta region, before the unification of the cultures of ancient Egypt. Her name is also spelled Baast, Ubaste, and Baset.[1]

Oh wow, this character is so adorable. ;v; I just love how you stylized her to the Egyptian style and modernized style of a neko (for lack of better description XD). The colors are well balanced and easily draw the eye, yet it always leaves more surprises for you to find the more you look at her. X3
