Hercules is a gelding, but he gives the best bitchface when running down the lists. He's a gorgeous Percheron, but damn is he like riding a rocket-powered refrigerator. Boy has an apple butt! <3

Awesome! I've had a mare for the last 15 years lol. :D Herc has to hold his own with 2 other girls at his home (he's not mine, sadly), so he knows how to pull a mean bitchface. XD
I also see that you're an Aussie! If you're interested in getting more involved in jousting, look up Rod Walker (http://www.jousting.com.au/) or Sarah Hay sometime. They're great jousters, and frequently invited to tournaments in Europe, as well as hosting their own in Australia. :D As a shameless plug, also feel free to look up my own troupe, The Knights of the Rose (https://www.facebook.com/KnightsOfT.....JoustingTroupe), or Herc's daddy's troupe, the Lords of Chivalry (https://www.facebook.com/LordsofChivalry). ^_^

HAHA indeed, I was talking with a friend last night, he was telling me about a bit more info into it all for the bigger events around Australia xD it would seem like its worth getting into rather then just the basic little stuff I have been doing around at my place hahaha
Funny thing is I've only fallen off a draft once and he literally tripped so bad he ended up on his knees (me over his head) and I've fallen many times off other horses but ridden drafts nearly as much as others, I feel safer on a draft for some reason with a smaller horse I feel more likely to slip off with a draft theres more body to catch ya if you do, never ridden in those kinds of shows though
I feel (now) like I can wrap my legs around a smaller horse better, but you're right, drafts feel more like a secure, comfy couch lol. I've seen videos of Hercules literally swinging his butt out to one side to keep his daddy from getting knocked off. He's kinda awesome. ^_^
