I've read the police reports, they found absolutely no evidence of child porn other than the fact that someone at one point used his internet connection to upload a single picture. Apparently it wasn't even from his own computer but a public access machine that he allowed others to use.

I had a friend of a friend suffer a similar fate.
His parents died and left him a duplex house they were renting out, the renters were prostituting themselves out of the house and said friend was arrested and jailed on charges of running a prostitution house simply because he was the legal owner of the house. Nevermind that he had no clue of what was going on in said house as the residents paid their rent an bills on time and took care of the place so he had no reason to look into it. This kind of shit happens all the time, especially for sex oriented crimes which make for good headlines and make the cops look like they're doing good "cleaning up the neighborhood".

Now there's something that needs to be a museum piece, if the fandom had one.
