America is Robotnik, Japan is Eggman. It got changed in America in 99 to line up with the lip sync of Sonic Adventure.

Can a Roboticised Mobian be regressed? That would be interesting. Maybe said mobian could regress to an earlier state before being roboticised, or the roboticised Mobian would regress into a roboticised infant.
