Trying new materials. Bee paper "Bogus Recycled" rough sketch. A very raggy brown paper, nice tooth but too "soaky" for watercolor washes. And Conte color pencils, kind of "chalky" in texture and a graphite stick.

I like using Conte, particularly white on a brown paper. Lovely work, definitely would like to see more of this.

I've used that paper before. Graphite pencil works well with gel pen highlights. It will also take markers as a base within reason.
